Feathering Hairstrokes Microblading

Eyebrow feathering is a cosmetic procedure that uses a precise blade to create the look of individual hairs to fill in sparse brows. It is ideal for creating a very full and the most natural eyebrow look.

Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and coloring your brows for two weeks prior to the procedure. This will allow your technician the most flexibility to achieve optimal results.

Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.

The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-microblading procedure:

  • Increased sweating
  • Practicing sports
  • Swimming
  • Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi
  • Sun tanning or salon tanning
  • UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading
  • Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck
  • Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
  • Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
  • Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles
  • Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying repair serum
  • Do not apply any eyebrow color for 1 month

DAY 1:

Eyebrows look amazing immediately after microblading appointment

Pigment gradually gets darker through out the day

Pigment reaches darkest level on day two

Light scabbing develops where microblading strokes occurred

Scabbing from microblading strokes begin to peel and flake off, sometimes revealing no definite, visible color in skin

WEEKS 3-4:

Pigment in skin continues to oxidize and microbladed strokes begin to reappear in color intended from the beginning, but some strokes come back looking patchy

WEEK 6-8

Eyebrows fully healed and ready to undergo the finishing effects of touch-up appointment

Beautiful eyebrow enhancement/transformation is complete after final touch-up

Microshading (Powder Brows)

Creating a shadow or gradient appearance with teeny-tiny dots of pigment to create fuller brow with a more defined “make-up look”.  Microshading lasts just as long as Microblading.

See Feathering Hair Stroke Microblading for post care instructions.

3D Waterline Permanent Eyeliner

Lash enhancement treatment that involves tattooing an ultra-thin line across your waterline in order to create the illusion of fuller, darker lashes and a natural, eye-opening effect.  This procedure is done by hand so you'll get finer, more precise results.

Pre-Procedure Instructions

  • Lash extension must be removed completely before your eyeliner procedure.  If you have lash extensions, we will not be able to do your eyeliner. Lash extensions pose a danger to your eyes during the micro pigmentation procedure.  Lash extensions can be reapplied once the liner has healed
  • Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following your eyeliner procedure.  Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-treated condition.
  • The use of Latisse must be discontinued at least 3 months prior to your eyeliner procedure.  Latisse produces an inflammatory reaction in the skin, which causes excessive pain and bleeding. If you use Latisse, your eyeliner will not take properly.
  • Do not use other growth stimulants such as RapidLash, or RevitaLash for at least one week prior to or one week after your eyeliner procedure.

Scalp Microblading for Spot balding

Scalp microblading works best on those who have thinning areas, especially on the hairline rather than areas that are completely bald.  Where microblading is most effective are the temples, a hair part that  has started to bald, or the entire hairline from ear-to-ear. The microbladed strokes extend the existing hairline or add an illusion of depth to thinning hair. Will be using both hand tool and machine to get the most natural looking effect. This treatment is available to both men and women.

Micropigmentation (semi-permanent makeup) procedures are affected by the “canvas” (your skin) that they are performed on. Lifestyle, medications, smoking, metabolism, facial surgery and other procedures, and age of skin all contribute to fading. The initial application is always applied conservatively because every person’s skin is different and the final color can only be precisely determined and adjusted during a follow-up appointment after the initial application has fully healed. Because of this, the micropigmentation process is not complete after the initial procedure. In all cases, a follow-up appointment is required 8 weeks after your initial application to fine tune and ensure the best result.

Though rare, infection is possible. If you see signs of infection such as persistent increased redness or swelling, fever, drainage, or oozing, contact your doctor immediately.

Pre-Procedure Instructions

  • Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, niacin, or drink excessive alcohol 48-hours prior to and after your procedure.
  • Do not take any prescription blood thinners 48-hours prior to and after your procedure.
  • Discontinue any vitamin A skin care products (Retin-A, retinols) close to the  enhancement area at least two weeks prior to your procedure. We recommend NOT using these products over or around the treatment area after you receive Micropigmentation.  It could cause fading and distortion of hair strokes & color.
  • Discontinue use of AHA (chemical exfoliation) skin care products close to the treatment area at least one week prior to your  procedure.
  • No laser or electrolysis on or around the treatment area two week before & after prior to procedure.
  • Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation three to four weeks before procedure.
  • No Botox or fillers for two weeks prior before & after the procedure.
  • Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and coloring your brows for two weeks prior to the procedure. This will allow your technician the most flexibility to achieve optimal results.

Micropigmatation is NOT for everyone. Please review the outline below.  If any of the following apply, this procedure may not be for you.

If you have or are:

  • Extremely oily skin and/or very large pores on your forehead (pigment may not  retain properly - the brows may fade quickly or strokes will appear fuzzy and blurred).
  • Dark/solid existing permanent makeup  (tattoo removal may be necessary).
  • A smoker (pigment may not retain properly, colors may distort).
  • Psoriasis in the treatment area.
  • An auto-immune disease.
  • Heart disease/Pacemaker
  • Diabetes type 1 or 2 (due to slow healing and infection, color may or may not retain well).
  • Thyroid/Graves Disease (medication may cause pigment to not retain properly).
  • Anemia (pigment may not retain properly).
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring.

Topical Anesthetic Advice (Feathering Hair Stroke Microblading/Microshading/3D Waterline Eyeliner/Full Lip Color/Sclap Microblading/Pigment Removals)

  • Allergic reaction can occur from any anesthetics used during the procedure.  If you do suffer from an allergic reaction, you should contact your doctor immediately.  Allergic reaction response may show through redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness or any other symptoms associated with an allergic reaction.
  • Numbness - We cannot accept responsibility if the area to be treated does not respond to the numbing cream.  Each individual is different according to skin type.  Some clients report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience some discomfort.
  • Procedure - For semi-permanent makeup procedure, a numbing cream/gel/pad is used.  The products are formulated to be perfectly safe and can be purchased over the counter from any pharmacy/chemist.  The anesthetic is placed over the treatment area for 30-40 minutes then carefully removed prior to treatment.  As a result of the treatment, combined with the use of the anesthetic, you can expect to experience some redness/swelling that can last 1-4 days.  You should always follow your post procedure advice and after care for the best results.
